Data Infrastructure

One schema. One source of truth. A productized Lynovix offering — not a custom bid. Backed by a frozen brief, a reference architecture, a PRD skeleton your team can fork, and a readiness-gate pricing shape you can see before you engage.

The question that triggers this

"What is our margin per customer per product this quarter?"

Or on-time delivery per route. Or stock turn per warehouse. Or churn per segment.

In every mid-market operator we talk to, that question crosses four to ten systems that do not talk to each other — an ERP, a CRM, a WMS or TMS, a finance suite, a vertical tool, and a pile of spreadsheets filling every gap. Today that question is answered by somebody copying CSVs on a Monday morning. That is the problem this offering solves.

What you get

A governed data platform built and operated end-to-end by one team — frontend to warehouse to dashboard — with every artifact in a repo you own.

  • product-brief.md — the scope, fit, and constraints for your engagement, forked from our reference SKU brief.
  • PRD.md — a frozen planning artifact that names the sources, the consumers, the refresh cadence, and the business questions this platform must answer.
  • architecture.md + ADRs — the reference Lynovix Data Infrastructure shape, adapted to your systems. One file per load-bearing decision, with alternatives and tradeoffs written down.
  • A running platform — ingestion, modelling layer, and a dashboard or API surface for the named questions.
  • Handover package — a runbook, a named weekly procedure your team can run, and an observability surface your engineers can own.

How we price

T-shirt tiers matched to scope signals — with the same readiness-gate commercial promise every Lynovix engagement uses.

TierTypical scope
S1 source, 1 consumer, 1 named business question.
M2–4 sources, 2–3 consumers, 2–3 named questions.
L5+ sources, regulated data, multi-team consumption.

Billing switches from planning rates to build rates only after the readiness gate passes. If the gate returns CONCERNS, build only starts with your written acceptance of each named risk. If it returns FAIL, revision stays at planning rates — you do not pay build rates against unfinished work. See the one-page readiness-gate summary or the full policy.

Actual fee ranges are shared on the discovery call. They anchor to real prior engagements, not a wish.

Why this is not a data-lake promise

Most "data platform" pitches ship raw storage and call it a day. The modelling layer — the part that turns bytes into answers — is the part that gets skipped, and that is why most attempts fail.

We refuse that split. Every Data Infrastructure engagement ships with a modelled layer (canonical facts, tested primary keys, documented grains), a named business question it answers, and a reversibility posture: your engineer can keep running this without us on day 31.
